Summary on Progress/ achievements made by the Hospital in medical field:

The Krishna Clinic was started by Dr.G.Krishna Rao (General Surgeon & Paediatrician) and Dr.M.Krishna Kumari, Gynaecologist, in 1999 in Vizianagaram with two rooms for consultation. Later, Sri.M.Bhujanga Rao, a retired Central Government Employee and father of Dr.M.Krishna Kumari purchased a site with a small building and a tiled house in Jidduvari Street, Vizianagaram. This was later converted slowly into a twenty bedded Hospital.

This Hospital grew as time passed on and it became very popular.

The idea of floating a Pvt Ltd Co in the name of M/s. Muvva Gopala Hospitals Pvt Ltd struck some people and this came into reality. This was registered by the Registrar of Societies, Andhra Pradesh on 28-07-2006. The share capital was raised with Mrs.Usha Rani and Mr.M.Rama Mohana Rao as Directors and some others as share holders. The company took on lease, the Private building owned by Dr.M.Krishna Kumari on rental basis. The building was extended in 1907-08 adding all the equipment necessary and with 100 beds. This is serving the local and the nearby villages very effectively and efficiently and became very popular in this area.

Dr.G.Krishna Rao, M.S; D.Ch, who is a retired civil surgeon Specialist, is now heading this Hospital as Managing Director and taking care of all the activities in the Hospital.
